Hey! This is in regards to submissions for issue #2. When you say to include a URL to our "work", do you mean the internet location of the piece we're sending to you, or just a link to our personal sites in general?

Good point. I meant the main place your art can be found in general, like an online gallery or portfolio.

Call for Entries for Issue #2: Feed My Frankenstein

The time has come to gather art for the second issue of Thicker Than Blood. We plan on releasing the issue to coincide with a The Blood Dumpster’s spooky and sexy food drive by the same name. Therefore, we felt it apropos to create a zine filled with art about both monsters and food. Hey even they have to eat, right? We want art with ghosts engorging and beasts-a-feastin’, or anything else that involves monsters and munching.

If you’ve gotten your hands on a copy of Thicker Than Blood #1 then you may have noticed a particular oversight on our part, only one contributor has no URL listed in the table of contents. In light of this fact, I’d like to highlight the portfolio of Mark Dowey ( click here http://www.coroflot.com/miroflec/ !!!!). He’s a very talented artist and design of things, who has created among other awesome things, toys for Todd MacFarlane. We’re very glad to have his work as part of our first issue and as Blood Dumpster contributor in general.

We plan on doing a new issue every 4 months. So that that would be this summer. Right now we’re up for suggestion for issue #2’s theme.

Thicker Than Blood #1 is printed! It looks pretty awesome thanks to Laura Galbraith, the zine’s co-editor and graphic designer, who also did the cover art.

It debuted at MoCCA Fest in NYC this past weekend and now it’s available to everyone on at the online shop eyeheart.us. If you really can’t wait to see it, you can sneak a peak at some pages on this flickr album.
